What are the uses of the buySAFE Trust API?

- authenticate the availability and type of buySAFE bond for any item in product search utilities
- display the bond status following a purchase

- display a list of Bonded Merchants for a given category
What is the process for becoming a certified developer?
- Complete the contact us form on the developers’ site.
- Review the documentation you receive from the buySAFE Developers’ support team. Complete, sign, and return the buySAFE API License Agreement.
- Upon receiving your signed license agreement, the buySAFE Developers’ support team will send you a sandbox token. You can use this token to access our sandbox and begin development of your application.
- Once your application is complete and stable, submit it to our support team for review.

If your application is approved, we will provide you with production environment credentials and you can release your application to the public.
How long does the implementation process typically take?
The average implementation time is less than two weeks; however, your actual amount of time will depend on the number of programmers you assign to the project and the technical expertise of those programmers.
